tonight, one of my childhood dreams came true. i went to a neil diamond concert.
and yes, it was amazing.
sure i dozed off a couple of times during his ballads, but it was a great show and i was thrilled to be there. i saw more replaced hips shakin' and more handicap license plates in the parking lot than i have ever seen before. neil's quote of the night was "oh yes". it was funny, "oh yeah" seemed a bit more appropriate given the circumstances, but he probably said "oh yes" 25 times. . . . so you'll know where i got it if you hear me say it.
can you believe this guy is in his late sixties? it's amazing what you can look like when you're old with money. the guy has really great skin.

I never knew you had a thing for Neil! We saw him a couple years ago. You can't help but sing along! Glad you had fun. We were supposed to go this year but we couldn't make it. Jason was very bummed!

And dont be ashamed about neil diamond. I myself own a john travolta record - and he has ZERO number one hits!
