it's officially almost official

i feel like it has been a decade since we last saw each other!  get it?  that was a joke.  these pics are from my bday.  b took me to the flower fields in carlsbad.  it was beautiful, the weather was perfect, clearly the lighting was exquisite, and yes, that's the ocean behind us.  ah, san diego.  how i love thee . . . 

and even though we were going to be eating cake that night, we had to get some strawberry shortcake.  and just when i thought the man couldn't be any more perfect . . .   

he got me a present that had been on my wish list for at least 25 years . . . hello new microscope.  

to explain my absence, when i'm not working, i'm working.  and once i finish working, you get the message.  i'm trying to finish up the moduture mailers and catalogues for the trade show coming up next month.  (pic from the furniture photo shoot above; courtesy of fab friend and photographer, jessica).  so if you want a mailer card and don't think i have your address (should be in your mailbox in about one week!), let me know so i can put you on the official mailing list.  doesn't it sound so official just by putting official in front of mailing list?
