impromptu new family member

i have been meaning to mention . . . . . . . we got a puppy!

please meet Moshi McGee Wilkinson. yes, i wanted a japanese name. and yes, 'moshi moshi' means hello in japanese. it's also used to get someone's attention. and let me tell you, we are constantly needing to get her attention, so it's quite perfect. our impromptu new family member came about a couple of weeks ago. b and i were running errands and he spotted some guy with puppies on a busy street corner. we drove over to check things out for fun, and next thing we knew, we were having an emergency family meeting researching everything we could on our phones about yorkies. brady totally got suckered in (even though he denies it). i told him that i was on the fence about getting a dog during such a busy month with the moduture launch, but watching him holding her with his puppy eyes and then gazing at her puppy eyes = impromptu trip to petco.

i'm not saying that i didn't got suckered in, i'm just saying that he got suckered first. one of my favorite things about having a puppy is when guys see her, their voices raise a couple of octaves and they start talking in baby talk. so funny.

i'm hoping that she gets over the blinking in pictures.

on a furniture note, i know i can't stop talking about it, but i'm so pumped for the moduture launch this month!! i thought it would be fun for you to see some pics from the photo shoots. there are only (3) pieces, but i tried to jazz them up with lots of options. who knew that huge, gold candle sticks could be so photogenic? and the furniture is not necessarily kids' furniture, the kiddos just look so darn cute in the pics.
