projects

i love watching construction projects and have found this building particularly intriguing . . .

because there are stairs and no doors!  it sounds so disneyland haunted mansion.  for months i have been perplexed by the decision to put the stairs in before the doors.  well, i anticipate doors.

another funny thing that i came across the other day was this meat sample at the grocery store.  i mean, who wouldn't want a tasty, uncovered meat sample that had been sitting out for who knows how long, and not even a toothpick in sight to pick it up?

on another note, b and i had to go to the embassy in bern a few weeks ago, and we passed by this cool poster for fondue burgers.
we toured around the city a little bit,
and then popped over to the temple.  so pretty.

the weeks have been flying by as we have been busy readying everything for our little life-changer.  if you haven't already deduced this, brady and i are a lethal combo of over-ambitious projects.  we like to do everything customized and everything ourselves.  you tack on time, money, and my need for cleanliness and order, and we get backed into corners quite quickly.
b is pictured above building cub's crib!  he knew that designing our baby's crib has always been a dream of mine, so despite it being VERY inconvenient to build here, he has been bringing my sketches to life.  man, i love him.  (i posted lots of pictures and more details on my other blog, cleverleyreviewed.com if you want to check it out).

and brady's cute mama taught me how to sew!  sew so i've been working on curtains for the cub's room!  the second moshi saw me lay the fabric out, she immediately had to lay on it and went crazy.  poor pup, she has NO idea what she's in for.

at least she's trying to do a little reading to get herself more 'baby wise'.
